Layer of Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Pfannschmidt and Elizabeth Pfannschmidt (Thul); and her husband Robert Layer. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Layer (Lisa) of Barnegat and Brian Layer (Ann Marie) of Cliffwood Beach; and her sister-in-law Christine Pfannschmidt. She is also survived by grandchildren and 8 dear great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
