He is survived by: his spouse Louisa; his children, Ernesto (Dianna), Raffaela Rizzo (Salvatore), Patrizia Padilla and Massimo (Kristin); and his siblings, Maria Mattera, Luigi Mattera, Rosalba Di Orio, Giovanni Mattera and Cecilia Mattera. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
