It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles J Merlin of Cliffside Park, New Jersey, who passed away on June 27, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Frances Charlie and Charles J. Merlin Sr. Charlie of Peter's College; his wife Joanne; his daughters, Pam, Jeanine and Tara; his sons-in-law, Kevin and Rob; and his grandchildren, Val and Nick.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Joseph Z. Konopka Funeral Home (9046 Palisade Pl, North Bergen, NJ 07047). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (9034 Barr Pl, North Bergen, NJ 07047). A burial was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022).
