He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Haas and Jean Haas; his wife Irene F. Haas; his child Eddie Haas; and his brother George Haas (Rosemary).
He is survived by: his child Pat Whitehead (Tom); his grandchildren, Michelle Fisler (Jim) and Tom Whitehead (Lkeesha); his great grandchildren, Michael, Emily and Joseph; his siblings, Jean Koneful, Steven Haas (Paula) and Diana Papapietro (Paul); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Gorman (late Jim) and Dave Diehl (Evelyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
