She is survived by: her children, Aura Lantigua-Pena (Francis), Cesar Lantigua (Kesia) and Jorge Lantigua; her grandchildren, Edgar Veloz, Edwin Veloz, Joel Pena, Jerry Pena, Crystal Lantigua, Jorge Lantigua, Karla Lantigua and Gabriella Lantigua; and her great grandchildren, Jailyn Aura Pena, Anayeliz Silomena Veloz, Azaneth Leva Pena and Jacob Liam Pena. She is also survived by five brothers, five sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations made in Josefa's name be sent to the charity of your choice.
