He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jane Hoch Wood; his children, Catherine Sturgill (Ralph Sr.), Richard Jr. (Sandra), Candace Dovenero (William), Cristin Wood Dovenero, Courtney Ahlers (Ryan), Raymond Wood and Ernest Hoch (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Cyndal, Ralph Jr., Chiara, Randy Sturgill, Richard III (Cassandra), Stephanie Wood, William IV, Carissa, Robert Jr., Cara Dovenero, Raymond Jr., Tyler, Lyla, Rhylen Wood, Hannah, Emily, Calvin Ahlers, Derek, Caitlin and Breanna Hoch; and his brother Henry H. (Lois). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
