He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bancroft and Dorothy Bancroft; and his siblings, Bernice Bancroft, Edward and John Bancroft.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Angelina Hewitt; his wife Gail Bancroft; his brother-in-law Joe Metzger; his stepchildren, Kim Alexander (Joseph Alexander Jr.), Valerie Ulrich, Michelle Aloi-Moran (Lucien Bouton) and Joseph Aloi (Debbie Aloi Mastella); his sisters, Nancy Hopkins (Gary), Maryann Scheeper (late Michael) and Dorothy Harwas (late Glen); and his former wife Lynda Bancroft. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
