He was predeceased by: his parents, James Black and Ann Black; and his stepson Christopher L. Smortz. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Black; his stepdaughter Donna M. Flinn (Richard S. Hecker); his grandson Jacob Klingler; and his brothers, Jim Black (Linda) and John K. Black (Carol).
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Barclay Funeral Home (208 Maple St, Clayton, NJ 08312). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery (240 N Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094). A burial will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:05 PM at the same location.
