“Cheryl please accept my deepest sympathies. I always enjoyed joes company. We started working together in the mid 70’s until my departure for the shipyard in 94. Joe was one of the main guys who put my fair well luncheon together. Good guy, fun to fish with and just have fun. Rest In Peace my friend.”

Alan Heim wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Joe, I fondly remember the time I asked Joe to take a look at why my Jeep was making a hideous grinding noise when I took a bump bigger than an anthill. Joe not only identified the issue, he went with me to the auto parts store to help me buy the right part. He then coached me through replacing the part while I worked in his driveway, using his tools. If that isn’t the embodiment of friendship, I don’t know what is. Joe was a really good guy! You will be sorely missed.”
