He was predeceased by: his wife Julia. He is survived by: his children, Delia McCarthy of Oakland and Daniel E McCarthy of Clark; his sister Mary Coffey of Ireland; his grandchildren, Caitlin and Colleen Gooney; and his niece Geraldine Coffey of Ireland.
