He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank DeMarzo and Angela DeMarzo (Rubino); and his sisters, Mary Waer, Antoinette Carroll, Lucille Riley and Carleen Nevargic.

He is survived by: his wife Carmel DeMarzo (Vincent); his daughters, Kelly Oake (Roy) and Angela DeMarzo; his stepdaughters, Christine Cifelli (Gerard) and Michele Quick (Charles Muccigrosso); his grandchildren, Angela Ann, Joseph Victor, Reagan Elizabeth and Erica Leigh; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony, Joey and Vincent; and his siblings, Dolores Donahue, Frank DeMarzo, Ralph DeMarzo and John DeMarzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
