She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Kokinda and Anna Kokinda (Kravchuk); her husband Joseph Simko; her children, Ronald Simko (Wendy) and Patricia Sharwarko (Mark); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Simko, Kristen Frevert, Victoria Bishop and Nicholas Sharwarko; and her sister Catherine Burcin.
