He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph (Katherine Kiempisty) and Clark; his wife Claire Kiempisty; and his son Marc Kiempisty. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Kiempisty (Linda), Linda Melnick (Michael) and Bernadette Lachowski (Ziggy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
