With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Celeste Sr. of Clark, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Celeste and Adaline Celeste (Cicenia); and his siblings, Madeline Celeste, Michael Celeste, Florence Macera and Helen Racano.

He is survived by: his wife Columbia Celeste (Lardiere); his children, Karen (Patrick Ruby), Joseph Jr. (Mary), Diana (Joseph Sznaza) and Mark (Loreen); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Joseph Losco), Patricia (William Bachmann), Kristen (Donald Cervellini), Kathryn (Tyler Tresslar), Olivia Sznaza, Joseph Sznaza and Chelsea Sznaza; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Alyssa Losco, Emma, Wyatt Bachmann, Clayton Cervellini, Jack, Ian and Layne Tresslar; and his sister Theresa Band.
