John R. Deissler Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Deissler Sr. of Clark, New Jersey, born in Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deissler and Beatrice Deissler (Browne); his wife Barbara Jean Deissler (Dalton); and his son William Marsh. He is survived by: his children, Robin Rettino, John "Bob" R. Deissler Jr. (Kim-Ann), Carolyn Gerhart (late Lee) and David Deissler (Brenda).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
