He was predeceased by: his parents, Vito Buccarelli and Alice Buccarelli (Enz). He is survived by: his wife Maryanne Buccarelli (Bober); his son Nicholas; his daughter-in-law Kayla Buccarelli; and his siblings, Greg (Kathy) and Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation. This charity had a special meaning to Chris as he was part of the World Trade Center recovery efforts, volunteering weekends at the Fresh Kills Landfill after 9/11.
