He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Epifanio Troia and Rosa Troia; his wife Rosa Troia; his children, Stefanio Troia (Jennifer) and Daniela McCraken (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Alessia, James, Natalie and Olivia.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Salvatore's memory to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (stjude.org), honoring his profound love for his children and grandchildren.
