He is survived by: his close friend Jean Cano; his children, Kathleen Kaighn (Jeffrey), Stephen Efkowitz (Amy Dow) and Susan Deeney (Michael); his grandchildren, Stephen Michael Efkowitz (Lauren), Christopher Kaighn (Meghan), Zachary Deeney, Joshua Kaighn (Kelsey) and Jessica Deeney; his great grandchildren, Logan, Emma and Jackson; and his brother Joseph Efkowitz. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
