He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sr. Wharton and Yvonne Wharton. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Bridget Toryk (Michael) and Rick Wharton (Caroleann); his grandchildren, Michael, Colin, Liam, Aidan and Eoin; and his great grandchildren, Arthur and Audrey.
