Though Elijah may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elijah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Cora Lee Shuler-Myers; his wife Diana L. "Cheri" Myers; and his son Robert Myers. He is survived by: his children, Doris Ann Myers, Elijah Myers, Jr., James Myers (Brenda Chapman), Willy Myers, Tamara M. Houston, Angela L. Brantley (Francis L. Brantley) and LaToya R. Houston; and his sisters, Loula Mae Myers-Alston and Geraldine Fagan. He is also survived by his 34 grandchildren & great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weber Funeral Home (112 Broad St, Riverton, NJ 08077). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
