She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Florence Smith (Barker). She is survived by: her husband Robert Applegate; her stepchildren, Alisa, Tina and Robert; her siblings, Darlene, Laura and Gordon; her grandchildren, Ross Michael, Dustin, Jacqueline, Amanda, Heather Grace, Dylan, Abryona and Cody; her great grandchildren, Carla, Raelyn and Eleanor; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie, Dale, Heather, Greg, Dwayne and Stephen.

A graveside service will be held at First Congregational Church Cemetery, 30 Hillside Road, Chester, NJ 07930.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Long Valley Fire Department, 5 Fairview Ave, Long Valley, NJ 07853.
