It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine C Emery (Chester, New Jersey), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Emery (Tom); her parents, Eugene and Julia; and her sisters, Florence, Phyllis, Vicky and Julie of Belleville.
She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara and Jeanne Benedetto; her children, Elizabeth McGrath, James Emery and Susan Liegner; her sons-in-law, Dr. Robert Liegner, Luis A. Romero and Robert Damiano; her son Thomas William Emery; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Barthel (McGrath), Kathleen Peterson (McGrath), Brewster McGrath, Zachary, McKenzie, Jackson, Erica, Baijea Emery, Ryan, Sarah, Allison Liegner, Paulina A., Isabel M. Romero, Justin, Connor and Ethan Damiano; and also, K. Michael McGrath and Robin Emery. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
