He was predeceased by: his parents, Freida Wiegand (Droughton) and John Wiegand; and his brother Edward Wiegand. He is survived by: his wife Karen Wiegand (Springer); his children, Matthew and Kristin; and his sisters, Nancy Schwarzel and Diane Wiegand. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
