It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Loren McElwain of Chester, New Jersey, born in Brookfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McElwain and Martha McElwain; his siblings, Mary, Harry (Sonny), Floyd, Peggy, Aleatha, Keith, Gale, Terry and Donnie; and his son Kerry.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia McElwain (Vruble); his sister Linda Spencer; his children, Kim Nytes (Jeff), Kirk (Amy) and Kelly; his grandchildren, Gordon (Aimee), Patrick and Ananda; and his great grandchildren, Joshua and Gemma.
