Gloria Wallich Amari Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2025, at the age of 93, Gloria Wallich Amari (Chester, New Jersey), born in Manhattan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfons Wallich and Betty Wallich (Grabenbauer); and her siblings, Peter Wallich, Larry Wallich, Jane Schulz (Wallich) and Fran Boschi (Pagliaro).
She is survived by: her significant other Joseph Amari; her children, Christina (Tina), Jerry, Thomas and Richard; her children-in-law, Rick, Anne, Virginia and Meredith; her grandchildren, Daniel (Trish), Steven, William, Nell, Elsa and Tim; her brother Joe; and her nieces and nephews, Steve, Dave, Sharon, Lee, Beth, Barbara, Chris, Neville and Court.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the International Book Project (intlbookproject.org) Gloria's favorite charity to which she has donated since the late 1960s, as well as the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library (https://www.tewksburylibrarynj.org).
