With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernst Eugene Wachsmuth II of Chester, New Jersey, born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst E Wachsmuth and Jane Wachsmuth. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Wachsmuth; his sons, Ernst "Buddy" Wachsmuth III and Max Wachsmuth; and his pets, Beef Wellington and Beignet.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that people honor Ernst's memory by reading his book "Dad Gloves: Sharing Gratitude, Loving Memories, and Best Practices of a Suburban Dad".
