She was predeceased by: her parents, David Baigrie and Stella Baigrie (Vanderhoof); her husband John F. Whiting; and her sister Stella Foster (Baigrie). She is survived by: her children, Robin Smith (Carl) of Martinsville, Virginia and Whiting (Katie) of Webster; and her friend Raymond Newman. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
