She was predeceased by: her father Harold Pete Smith. She is survived by: her children, Bobby, Michael, Peter, Brian, Matthew "Bubba" (Christine) and Amy; her grandchildren, Hope, Jordan, Jack, Blake, Owen, Mason, Paige and Anna; and her sisters, Deborah Borden and Karen Griffin. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bonnie's memory to the METAvivor Research and Support, 1783 Forest Drive #184, Annapolis, MD 21401. METAvivor is the only organization that solely funds MBC research through a scientific peer review process, ensuring that 100% of donations go toward supporting grants for metastatic breast cancer research.
