It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Clay Bridgers Jr. of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Meg Black (Jesse), Samuel Clay Bridgers, III (Donna), John Bridgers (Lisa), James L. Bridgers (Joelle) and Justin Bridgers (Karen); his grandchildren, Sean Black (Melissa), Brian Black (Colleen), Jane Herman (Ethan), Caitlin Bridgers, Jenna Fryer (Andrew), Joshua Bridgers, Nate Bridgers, Aidan Bridgers, Reise Bridgers, Cora Bridgers and Nev Bridgers; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Black, Sophia Black, Beau Black and Carver Herman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of St. Mary (2001 Springdale Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Samaritan Hospice (samaritannj.org) or to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
