He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Meg Black (Jesse), Samuel Clay Bridgers, III (Donna), John Bridgers (Lisa), James L. Bridgers (Joelle) and Justin Bridgers (Karen); his grandchildren, Sean Black (Melissa), Brian Black (Colleen), Jane Herman (Ethan), Caitlin Bridgers, Jenna Fryer (Andrew), Joshua Bridgers, Nate Bridgers, Aidan Bridgers, Reise Bridgers, Cora Bridgers and Nev Bridgers; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Black, Sophia Black, Beau Black and Carver Herman.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Samaritan Hospice (samaritannj.org) or to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
