He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Mariantonina. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his siblings, Frances, Lucy, Mary, Anthony, John and Joseph; his children, Marie Ely (Jim) of Westmont, NJ, Peggy Conway (Steve Carroll) of Rye, NY and John Como of Bethpage, NY; his siblings-in-law, Michael McElligott (Bonnie) of Mount Laurel, NJ and Connie McElligott of New York, NY.; his grandchildren, Daniel Conway, Thomas Conway (Danielle), Joshua Ely and Catherine Ely; and his former spouse Bayport. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blake-Doyle Funeral Home (226 W Collings Ave, Collingswood, NJ 08108). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Church (809 Park Ave, Collingswood, NJ 08108). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 Rte 70 W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002).
