We bid farewell to Rita D. Rizio (Cherry Hill, New Jersey), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 30, 2024 at the age of 92. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene P. Rizio; her siblings, Jenny Howlett, Marion Neri Jones, Mary Angelastro, Rose Marconi, Josephine Persechino, Betty Pizzutto, Fred Persechino and Jean Bailey; her parents, Angelo Persechino and Nataline Persechino; and her grandson Eric Rizio.
She is survived by: her children, Gene F. Rizio (Kathy) and Diane Westman (Len); her sister Ann Carcione; her grandchildren, Jamie Westman, Christopher Rizio (Juliana), Lauren Mezzy (Caleb) and David Westman (Morgan); and her great grandchildren, Cameron Mezzy, Tobie Mezzy, Nico Rizio and Sarah Westman.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish- St. Lawrence (135 N White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Campus (135 N White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, NJ 08021). An entombment was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002).
