With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Nesbitt of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert John Nesbitt "Bob"; her son John Nesbitt (Regina); her parents, John Douglass and Florence Douglass; and her brother Jack Douglass (Evelyn).
She is survived by: her children, Hazel Johnson (Kean), Ronald Nesbitt (Lora Pereboeva) and Carol Dale (George, Sr.); her daughter-in-law Betsy Rose Nesbitt; her grandchildren, David Nesbitt (Valerie), Nora Nesbitt, Heather Nesbitt, Hunter Nesbitt, Robert Nesbitt, Ryan Nesbitt, Chrysta Santare Tim (Andrew), Hugh Santare (Britanny), George Dale, Jr., Amanda Burkhardt (Keith) and Eric Dale; her great grandchildren, Paisley Santare, Ella Santare, Dakota Dale, Ryker Dale, Skyler Dale, Ellie Burkhardt, Delaney Burkhardt, Vincent Nesbitt and Christopher Nesbitt; and her nieces and nephews, Jon, Ian Whiting, Lynn and Mark Overton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory (441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (260 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009).
