With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank J. Bertos of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank J. Bertos to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Bertos and Evangelia Bertos; and his brother Emanuel J. Bertos. He is survived by: his spouse Sevasti; his children, John F. Bertos (Chrisoula) of Maple Shade, Epaminondas "Don" F. Bertos of Cherry Hill and Fani F. Zavolas (Georgios) of Cranford; his grandchildren, Frank J. Bertos, Dimitra J. Bertos, Niko G. Zavolas and Frank G. Zavolas; and his sibling Vasilia Polemikos of Karpathos. He is also survived by sister- and brother-in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with countless friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church (615 Mercer St, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Locustwood Memorial Park (1500 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Frank's memory to the family which will be forwarded to Panagia Plagia Church in Volada, Karpathos, for a memorial to be decided at a later time.
