Edward Cahill Hughes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Cahill Hughes of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret (John Hughes) and NJ; his brother Jack; and his sister-in-law Marie. He is survived by: his wife Marianne E. McGurk; his children, Kevin Hughes and Kathryn Hughes; and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Faulk (Warren), Kathleen Santoro and Eugene McGurk. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in his memory to Mahpiya Luta (formerly Red Cloud Indian School), 100 Mission Drive, Pine Ridge, South Dakota 57770 (mahpiyaluta.org), an organization that Edward passionately supported.
