She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Desher; her siblings, Joan Bohrman (Karpinski) and Col. George F. Karpinski; and her grandsons, Connor and Riley McTernan.
She is survived by: her children, Sean McTernan (Sarah), Stacey Hofmann (Kevin) and Jason (Julie); and her brother John A. Karpinski.
