She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. McGarry and Eva McGarry (Symoens); her husband Eugene Duane; and her brothers, Leo, Jerome and Michael.
She is survived by: her children, John Duane (Rose) and Eileen Murray (late Michael); her grandsons, Matthew and Christopher Duane; her sister Mary Wiedmann; and her caregiver Larisa Beroshvili. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
