He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julia Dimler and Richard Dimler; his wife Carol Dimler; his sons, Richard E. Dimler (Lisa) of Vista, CA and Christopher J. Dimler (Cecilia) of New Providence, NJ; his grandchildren, Ryan J., Caroliña N., Christopher D. and Paige M. Dimler; and his sisters, Marilyn Krajcik and Julie Dimler.
