She was predeceased by: her brother Matthew Kissil. She is survived by: her parents, Don Kissil and Claire Elaine Kissil (Yandell); her husband Mark; her daughters, Allison and Rachel; and her stepdaughter Sarah.

It was Mia's wish that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to support her daughters' higher education.
