She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Buie and Vivian Compton Buie. She is survived by: her husband George Bauer; her children, Michael Bauer (Shannon), Missy Petersen and Meg Hajjar (Mike); her sister Linda Kress; and her grandchildren, Lily, Jake, Neil, Luke and Kathryn (Kit). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
