It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Aloysius Griffin of Chatham, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Louis Griffin and Mary Rose Flaherty; his siblings, Marie Louise Griffin and William Griffin; his wife Pam; and his granddaughter Abigail Mae Rollenhagen.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela McCullough, John Peter Griffin, Carol Appino (Perry), Joan Griffin (Andrew Mayo) and Elizabeth Rollenhagen; his grandchild Kelly Otte (Neil); his great grandchildren, Cecelia and Madeleine; his grandchildren, Katherine Lewis (William), Anne McCullough, Sara Rubin and Matthew Rubin; and his caregivers, Fatou Soare, Nikki Lawal-Mason, Kaosara Sanni and Julita Banfo.
