He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kling and Genevieve Belden. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Kling (Whitehead) of Chatham; his children, James E. Kling (Leigh Ann) of Chesapeake, VA and Dawn Marie Sardini (Jay) of Chatham; his grandsons, James Kling (Chelsea), Brian Sardini (Kristen), Connor Sardini, Tanner Kling and Drew Sardini; his great grandchild Aila Sardini; his siblings, Carl Kling (Elaine), Jean Marie Banks (Keith), Kathy Newel (Eric) and John Kling (Kathy); his brothers-in-law, Fred Whitehead (Diane) and Robert Whitehead (Kathy); and his friends, Dave and Mary Ann Vaccaro. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, corner of Chatham Street and Washington Avenue, Chatham Memorial Gifts: In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jim's name to the Chatham Volunteer Fire Department, 1 Firehouse Plaza, Chatham, NJ 07928.
