He is survived by: his wife Betty Milligan of Birmingham; his stepchildren, Deloitte Haskins and Sells; his siblings, William Kipp of Raleigh and Barbara Schmidt of New Castle, Colo; his children, Stephen Kipp of Seattle and Cynthia Lembree of Claremont, N. H.; his granddaughters, Katie Kipp, Sarah Lembree Fonseca and Hannah Lembree; and his great grandchild Savannah Whitney Fonseca.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Skidaway Island United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
