He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dempsey and Shirley Dempsey; and his father-in-law Taddeo DiTaddeo. He is survived by: his wife Marya Dempsey (DiTaddeo); his daughter Megan Dempsey of East Norriton, PA; his siblings, Carol Schultz (Robert) of Hatfield, PA, Joanne Dumke (John) of Hatfield, PA and Brian Dempsey (Carolyn) of Chatham, NJ; his mother-in-law Angela DiTaddeo of Wilmington, DE; and his sister-in-law Elia Trowbridge (Christian) of Landenberg, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, David's family kindly requests contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Center at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center to honor David's life.
