She was predeceased by: her parents, David B. Holding and Mildred Layton Holding; her husband Oliver Nichols; and her sister Harriet Blackmon. She is survived by: her children, David W. Donaghay (Linda) of Washington State, Leslie M. Ernest (Vince) of Tennessee, Carl V. Bradford (Mandy) of Cedarville and Helen M. Mazzoli (Frank) of Greenwich; and her brother William Holding of Sayres Neck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
