He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar A. Wernes and Alice T. Wernes; his sister Lois Carlson; his brother-in-law Harry Carlson; his brother Richard; his parents-in-law, Gennaro and Madeline Ferrara; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick, Camille Ferrara and Helen Ferrara.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Ann Ferrara; his son Paul; his daughter-in-law Susan; his grandson Dominick; his son Randy; his daughter-in-law Jessica; his grandchildren, Kendall, Mason and Noemi Wernes; and his siblings-in-law, Gale Wernes and Anthony Ferrara.
