He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret Schmidt (Galvin) and Frederick Schmidt of Cedar Grove; his wife Lydia Schmidt (Merola); his children, Todd Schmidt, Heather Andrews (Greg) and Noelle Schmidt (John Hermann); and his grandchildren, Chelsea, Kyle, Cara, Rachael and Michael. He was also cherished by the many nieces, nephews and great friends.
