It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. Batten Sr. of Cedar Brook, New Jersey, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on July 2, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Batten, and Joseph L. Batten, Sr.; and his brothers, Joseph, Harold, Frank and Albert Batten.
He is survived by: his children, Danielle Batten (John) and George Batten, Jr. (Stephanie); and his sisters-in-law, Palma Williams and Maryann Dugan. He is also survived by his other brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Samaritan Hospice or St. Simon Stock Parish in memory of George.
