He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Dacko; his parents, Nicholas Soniak and Catherine Hnatchak; and his brothers, Michael and John.
He is survived by: his grandfather Bill; his children, Nancy Hoos (Glen) and Robert Soniak (Linda); his grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron, Abigail, Tyler, Christopher and Mackenzie; and his great grandchildren, Josephine, Eleanor and Scarlett.
