It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Banko of Carteret, New Jersey, born in Port Reading, New Jersey, who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Bartosevich (Banko) and Michael Banko; and his significant other Mary Banko (Wozny). He is survived by: his children, Diane L. Fraser (William) of Bluffton and Michael W. Banko (Lisamarie); his grandson Brandon E. Banko of Carteret, N. J.; his brother Michael Banko of Monroe, N. J.; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Kelly of Sucussana, N. J.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
