It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Platt of Carteret, New Jersey, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Platt and Rowland H. Platt; his brother Dennis Platt; and his sister-in-law Patricia Huszar Platt. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Pallino Platt; his brother Rowland Platt of Carteret; his children, Mitchell Platt (Emily) of Fords, Amanda Edge of Port Reading and Sharyn Leigh Lennox (John) of Old Bridge; and his grandchildren, Ava Marie, Hunter, Hudson, Johnny, Jaxon, Julian and Tanner.
In lieu of flowers contributions to ASPCA in Richard's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
